Success delivery stories: Sherman – South Carolina
Earlier this year, in February, we had the chance to transport a 2017 Chevy Tahoe for a customer we’ll call Rich (to protect their privacy). Rich, living in Sherman, Texas, decided back in January that he needed to move his car all the way to South Carolina. To make things easier, he hopped online and used a car shipping calculator to get a quote. Shortly after, we received a call from him. Rich was flexible with his schedule, which is often a key to securing a really good deal. This flexibility allowed us to coordinate the most efficient transport route, saving him both time and money. Additionally, his patience paid off as we were able to schedule the shipment during a less busy time, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free delivery.

Since he wasn’t in a rush, we were able to offer him a great price for the transport. The pickup location? Sherman, just north of Dallas, Texas, a fantastic area for scheduling a carrier. As for the drop-off? It was a little south of Columbia, South Carolina, nestled perfectly between Augusta, Columbia, and Florence, which made it easy to navigate. The route was perfect, but Rich’s Chevy Tahoe wasn’t fully operational. While it couldn’t start, it could still roll, brake, and steer. This minor issue required some additional care during loading and unloading, but thanks to our experienced team, everything was handled with precision. Despite the challenges, the transport process went smoothly, and Rich was relieved to know his vehicle was in good hands.

No problem for us, though. We sent out a carrier equipped with a winch, making the pickup process smooth and easy. Rich was happy with how quickly everything came together. What surprised everyone the most was despite the route being more than 1,000 miles, we managed to get the car to its destination in just one day! Typically, a route like this would take about two or three days, but everything just clicked perfectly, and we were able to exceed Rich’s expectations.

When the Tahoe arrived, Rich was thrilled. His beloved SUV was delivered in flawless condition, exactly as it had left Texas. Rich and the truck driver conducted a thorough inspection of the vehicle, and they both signed off on the Bill of Lading (BOL), confirming that the car was in perfect shape. Rich’s experience shows just how smooth car shipping can be, especially when the customer is flexible with their pickup schedule. Booking your transport at least a week in advance, as Rich did, often leads to a more efficient and cost-effective experience.
And, like in his case, you might even be pleasantly
surprised by how fast and easy the process can be!
