Open transport is usually the most affordable option, while enclosed or expedited shipping costs more. What affects the total cost of the shipment?
This is a great question! The total cost is affected by the size of your vehicle, operable condition, distance, route quality and most importantly – how flexible you’re with your pick-up schedule.
What does the term "Pick Up Window" mean?
Pick up window means the total amount of available days when trucker can show up and pick up your vehicle. The more available days you’re able to provide, the more flexible your pick up schedule is, the better the deal you can get! This is really important!
Can I put personal items with my car?
Yes, you can typically include up to 100 lbs of personal items at no charge, stored in the trunk or below window level. Items beyond 100 lbs may be shipped for an additional $1 per pound. Personal items are generally not covered by the carrier's cargo insurance, so we recommend leaving out valuables, important documents, and hazardous materials. Always confirm the details with your shipping agent before pickup.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes, your vehicle will be fully insured during the transport by the carrier’s cargo insurance.
